DO YOU HAVE A PIONEER IN YOUR FAMILY PRIOR TO 1900?

If so register your pioneer with the Queensland Pioneer Register Library at Gayndah. All information will be collated onto CD’s and stored at the Family Historical Centre in the library at Gayndah. Gayndah has been chosen as the storage centre as it is the oldest town in Queensland and has a vital and fascinating history of it’s own.

A family member may nominate a pioneer who lived in Queensland prior to 1900. In 2002 the Year of the Outback (YOTO) the youngest member of the family will also be noted. The name of the youngest descendant in 2002 is required as this program is sponsored by YOTO for 2002.  The program will continue on into 2003 and as long as there is a need for it.
